Non-congruent alternate interior angles

This is a picture of a ladder. The two green lines are cut by the blue transversal. Since the two green lines are not parallel, the alternate interior angles are not congruent. Example of this are the yellow arched angle and the red arched angle. The red arched angle is obtuse and the yellow one is acute. Ladders can be found in most homes. Ladders are also used at construction sights and whenever anyone needs to reach something above their height.

Supplementary angles that are not a linear pair

This is a picture of the cabinets in my kitchen. The two right angles formed in each corner of the cabinet are a supplementary pair. Right angles' measures are 90 degrees and 90+90= 180 degrees and in order to be a supplementary pair the angles' measures have to add to 180 degrees, which these angle measures do.  They are not a linear pair since they are not ajacent and not forming a line. Cabinets are found in every building. They are used for storage of all kinds of items. They are used for storing dishes in my kitchen but can be used to store anything that will fit in them.

Adjacent non-supplementary angles

This is a picture of a sliced up piece of pizza. The adjacent angles are creates by the slices and are the ones outlined in blue and green with the black segment as the included side. They are not supplementary since they do not form a straight line. Pizza is one of the most common foods in the US and is many people's favorite food. In almost every shopping center you can find a restaurant that serves pizza. Also every grocery store sells frozen pizzas.

Vertical angles

This is a picture of a railroad crossing sign. The two pieces of the sign cross over each other and create two pairs of vertical angles. The blue arched angles are one of the pairs of vertical angles. Railroad crossing signs are posted at every place a railroad meets a street driven on by cars. They are used at all railroad crossings so they are very common.
